About Us
Evolution Design & Build is the brainchild of Pete Gordon and Anson Cumberbatch, who established the company back in 1996. We have continued to grow ever since. With an accumulated experience of over 25 years, our contractors have earned a healthy reputation in that time for the quality of their work, not too much mention numerous testimonials from our satisfied customers.
We welcome enquiries from residential, commercial and light industrial clients across the Midlands and beyond. Everything from extensions and conservatories to repair/maintenance of listed buildings and refurbishments can be catered for.

Our unique ethos is always maintained and continued through a code of ethics seldom found, or adhered to, by competitors. We also offer free building tips and advice for help with your planning permission and house extensions.

All new projects are initially visited to discuss requirements and expectations. We are able to assess jobs and create a measurement survey and, as a result, clients are presented with a competitive written quotation for their consideration. Our ultimate goal is 100% customer satisfaction when work commences.
We are delighted to work with homeowners, small and medium businesses and large corporations - one of our main customers is McCormik UK Ltd, the mother company of the world-renowned Schwartz. We also have a wealth of experience working on Grade I and II listed properties – including a number in Birmingham’s famous Jewellery Quarter – meeting all building regulations.
